Sudan announces its support for the Russian “DM” Mining Company

The Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited, Mohamed Taher Omar, revealed the efforts of the leadership of the Ministry of Minerals and the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company to accelerate the pace of procedures for foreign investors and companies, in coordination with the relevant authorities.

Muhammad Taher announced during his meeting in his office, (Thursday), in Port Sudan, with Mr. Georgi Amiarchu Mian, Consul of the Russian Federation Embassy in Sudan, accompanied by the director of the Russian “DM” Mining Company, about the security stability witnessed in the mining areas in the country, and he called on all companies that stumbled due to War to return to work and exert its maximum capacity to achieve more production, stressing the provision of all aspects of technical support and overcoming the difficulties facing foreign companies in the country.

The Director General of Mineral Resources confirmed the provision of technical support to the Russian company DM to achieve greater stability and increase the benefits of the Sudanese and Russian peoples. He appealed to all foreign and local companies and investors to redouble their efforts, saying that our doors for investment in the mining sector will remain open.
