The Sudanese government on Sunday condemned what it described as an Iranian attack on the Sultanate of Oman, reiterating its rejection of any actions that undermine the stability of fellow states in the region.
In a statement, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said, “The Government of Sudan strongly condemns the blatant and unlawful Iranian aggression against the sisterly Sultanate of Oman.”
Khartoum affirmed its solidarity with Oman’s sovereignty over its territory and its legitimate right to defend its security, stability and people. It also stressed that Sudan rejects any actions that threaten the security and stability of sisterly countries in the region.
