The governor of Kurmuk, Abdel Ati Mohamed Al-Faki, said the Sudanese army is preparing to advance toward the strategic area of Yabus, following its recapture of the town of Al-Jaratt in the Blue Nile region.
Addressing soldiers and officers in Al-Jaratt, Al-Faki said—according to a government media platform—that similar victory celebrations would soon be held in Yabus.
