The Director-General of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal, accompanied by several senior officials, inspected the Counter-Terrorism and Organized Crime Authority, extending Eid al-Fitr greetings and conducting a field visit to review the duties carried out by forward units in the White Nile sector. These units are tasked with maintaining security and stability in the state.
Mufaddal stated that the agency has remained actively engaged in what he described as the “War of Dignity,” fulfilling its duty to defend the country and its resources.
He expressed appreciation for the bravery and sacrifices of the armed forces, other regular forces, joint forces, and volunteers in efforts to rid the country of what he described as a “terrorist militia.”
The intelligence chief stressed the importance of internal unity and public support for the armed forces, affirming the inevitability of a complete victory over the militia through the liberation of all national territory under the leadership of the Chairman of the Sovereignty Council and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces. He also emphasized the need for coordinated efforts to achieve the state’s objectives in the ongoing conflict.
