Agricultural Bank Finances More Than 3 Million Feddans in Gedaref

The manager of the Agricultural Bank’s Gedaref branch, Tariq Ali Mohamed, announced that the bank had financed more than 3 million feddans in the state during the current agricultural season through its 11 branches.
Tariq told Al-Ahdath that the Agricultural Bank’s Gedaref branch alone, among the bank’s 11 branches in Gedaref State, had financed approximately 3 million feddans in one of the largest agricultural financing operations witnessed by the state.
He confirmed that the agricultural season was progressing well, noting that the branch had not turned away any farmer who applied for financing.
He explained that the bank was preparing for the next stage of the agricultural season, with the kadib stage expected to begin within two weeks. The branch, he said, would conduct field visits to assess farmers’ needs.
The bank is also prepared to finance the requirements of the next stage, including fertilizers and pesticides, while continuing to provide support and field monitoring for farmers through the advanced stages of the agricultural season.
