Trade Minister: Exporting 900 Kilos of Gold

The Sudanese Minister of Trade and Supply, Al-Fatih Abdullah Yousif, has revealed that Sudan has exported approximately 900 kilograms of gold this year 2023.
He expected, in a special statement to (Sudan Events), that gold exports would reach a ton or more before the end of the year. He further revealed that the ministry has begun exporting large quantities of manufactured Gum Arabic in the form of granules and powder.
He announced the opening of exports of scrap iron, hides, and sorghum after storing enough of it for the country as a reserve for next year.
The Minister noted that the areas cultivated with crops cover about 60 million fedans, of which 47 million were produced, and these areas produced about 10 million tons to 12 million tons of grain, where the average productivity per one fedan reached 18 sacks, announcing the opening of the import of burlap sacks for packing.
