The Ministry of Infrastructure and Transport in Gezira State inaugurated two solar energy stations on Monday.
The Acting Minister of Infrastructure and Transport, Engineer Abu Bakr Abdallah announced the continued implementation of solar energy projects in the state’s water sources, health facilities, and drug stores within the ministry’s budget for the year 2024 AD.
Meanwhile, Director of the State Water Authority, Engineer Mohammad Al-Awad Al-Jak, explained that the solar energy plants contributed to the stability of the water supply during the programmed power cuts.
