Arrangements to Facilitate Gold Export Procedures

The Director General of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company Limited, Mohamed Taher Omar, announced coordination with the Customs Administration to facilitate gold export procedures through official channels.

Muhammad Taher said, in press statements today (Monday), after his meeting with Police Lieutenant General Adam Al-Nour, Director of the Customs Forces, in the presence of the Director General of the General Authority for Geological Research, the “acting” Executive Director of the Ministry of Minerals, the geologist and advisor, Ahmed Haroun Al-Toum, that the meeting discussed Mechanisms to facilitate gold export procedures for exporters and companies and remove all difficulties facing export operations. He appealed to companies and capitals working in the field of gold export to follow official channels, indicating that the country relies mostly on benefiting from export proceeds.

For his part, the Director of the Customs Forces, Lieutenant General Adam Al Nour, confirmed his full readiness to facilitate all procedures related to gold export operations through official channels.
