Orders to tackle threats on Al-Jaily Refinery

The Deputy of the Head of Transitional Sovereignty Council, Mr. Malik Agar Air, was briefed on the plans and programs of the Ministry of Energy and Oil, the challenges facing the oil sector in the country, and the damage to the Al-Jaily Refinery.
During his meeting with the Minister of Energy and Oil, Dr. Mohieldin Naeem Saad, in the presence of the Director General of Al-Jaily Refinery and his deputy. The Deputy of the Head of the Council affirmed his support for the Ministry to implement its programs and plans.
The Minister of Energy and Oil said in a press statement that he presented an update to the Deputy on the threats facing the refinery and the sabotage that occurred, pointing out that Agar directed that all threats be addressed to ensure the safety and security of the Al-Jaily Refinery.
The minister said that the Al-Jaily refinery is considered one of the capabilities of the Sudanese people and must be preserved, indicating that a meeting will be held next week with the Deputy to follow up and discuss a number of issues of concern to the oil sector in the country.
