Egypt: Gold Leap During 2023

There was a big jump in gold prices during the year 2023, with a significant increase of 2,000 Egyptian pounds per gram, as the price of a gram of 21 carat gold reached 3,150, and a gold pound reached 25,200 pounds.
This Friday morning, 24 carat recorded 3,571 pounds for sale, compared to 3,075 pounds for purchase.
While the price of 21 karat gold was about 3,125 pounds for sale, compared to 3,175 pounds for purchase.
A gram of 18 carat gold is sold in jewelers’ stores for 2,628 pounds, compared to 2,6355 pounds for purchase .
The price of 14 karat gold reached 2,083 pounds for sale, compared to 2,050 pounds for purchase.
The price of the 21-karat gold pound weighing 8 grams also stabilized at 25,000 pounds, compared to 24,600 pounds for purchase.
