Two foreign nationals were arrested with a sniper rifle

Khartoum – Sudan Events 

The joint force in Shendi locality raided a farm, which resulted in the seizure of two foreigners in possession of a sniper rifle 223 and its accessories, including two magazines containing 73 cartridges, an air rifle, 10 rounds of 8 mm caliber, in addition to seizing an advanced device for transmitting signals.
Legal action has been taken and investigations are being completed.
The River Nile Chief Police Officer, Major General Salman Muhammad al-Tayeb, praised the vigilance of the joint force, stressing that the security services will stand as a barrier against any attempts to destabilise security and stability.
The Joint Forces are composed of forces from the 3rd Infantry Division and the local police.
