The Sudanese Ministry of Trade carries out its duties from “Merowe” in the northern state

The Minister of Federal Trade and Supply in Sudan, Amal Salih Saad, officially began the work of the Ministry’s office from the Merowe Local headquarters.

The Minister of Trade and Supply stated that the work of the Ministry’s office in the North comes within the framework of enforcing the directives of the Federal Council of Ministers in this regard.

The minister called on exporters, suppliers and those dealing with border trade to follow up and coordinate with the ministry to facilitate procedures and solve outstanding problems.

She emphasized the Ministry’s keenness and interest in overcoming the obstacles facing the provision and flow of goods and commodities to the states.

The Minister praised the efforts of the Northern Governor and the Executive Director of the locality for facilitating the work procedures of the Ministry’s office.

Meanwhile, the Minister of Trade and Supply discussed with the Executive Director of the locality, Ms. Sumaya Hussein, the importance of joint coordination and cooperation between the ministry and the state and local headquarters in order to serve the role of the ministry’s activity in internal and external trade and linking it with the relevant competent authorities.
