White Nile State Receives Medical Aid from the King Salman Relief Centre

The acting governor of the White Nile State – Central Sudan, Omar al-Khalifa, received on 11 September 2023 a convoy of medical aid provided by the King Salman Center for Relief and Humanitarian Aid to promote the health sector. The convoy was delivered to the premises of medical supplies in the White Nile state. Mr. al-Khalifa praised the efforts deployed by the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, represented by the King Salman Relief Center, to support the health sector in the country to ease bad situations resulting from events of the 5th—10 April.

Mr. al-Khalifa revealed that the convoy comprised 123 medicines, which the state fell short of during the war. The convoy also contains medical aids, intravenous solutions, dialysis solutions, kidney transplantation, and other life-saving medicines.

On the other hand, the state Minister of Health, Dr. Ezzedine Alwan, highlighted that the convoy is considered excellent support for hospitals and health centres as it meets the actual needs of the state.
