Minister of Higher Education Imposes Sanctions on Sudanese Universities

Professor Mohammed Hassan Dahab, the acting Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, has issued a decision under the title ‘Sanctions for Non-compliance with the Suspension of Studies’ on Sudanese universities that have continued academic activities within or outside Sudan.
Accordingly, he has decided not to recognise or accredit any studies or academic activities conducted after the decision to suspend studies had been issued. Additionally, the approval for any new programmes at the undergraduate, diploma, and postgraduate levels for the entire academic year is suspended, along with freezing admissions for the academic year 2023-2024.
