Panic in Sudanese Villages as RSF Approaches
Khartoum – Sudan Event
A state of terror and panic prevailed among the citizens of the villages of Al-Takina, Al-Ghaba and Umm Maghd, north of Al-Jazeera State, in central Sudan, after a force of 20 armed vehicles from the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) penetrated the area and established outposts in the Um Maghd area, where three young men on board a commercial vehicle sustained various injuries at the outpost as a result of gunshots by the RSF under the pretext of not complying with stop and search orders. Others got arrested.
Eyewitnesses reported no clashes between the region’s Sudanese army and the RSF. The RSF force withdrew north towards the Masoudiya and Jiyad industrial areas.
