Al-Burhan to Uganda

The head of the Sovereignty Council, Lieutenant General Abdel Fattah Al-Burhan, headed this morning to the Republic of Uganda, on an official visit.
During the visit, the head of the Council will hold discussions with the head of the Republic of Uganda, Yoweri Museveni, to address the course of bilateral relations between the two countries, ways to enhance them, and issues of common interest between the two countries.
Al-Burhan’s visit to Kampala comes as part of a series of foreign tours that he initiated in Eritrea, Qatar and Turkey as part of discussing international and regional efforts to end the ongoing fighting in the country between the Sudanese army and the Rapid Support Forces (RSF) since the fifteenth of last April.
The Council head is accompanied during the visit by the Foreign Minister-designate, Ambassador Ali Al-Sadiq, and the Director of the General Intelligence Service, Lieutenant General Ahmed Ibrahim Mufaddal.
