Mining Income Tax Decreased

Khartoum – Rihab Abdallah

The Sudanese minister of finance and economic planning, Dr Gebril Ebrahim issued a decision to unify income tax for both industrial and mining sectors. The decision cuts business income tax from 30% to 15%, which applies to both sectors.
This decision comes as part of the country’s endeavour to encourage national and foreign investment, motivating mining and industrial companies to help them resume their activities and increase production.
