The Army Hands Over Children Who Participated in Combat with the Rapid Support Forces to the Red Cross

The Sudanese Armed Forces revealed the handover of (30) underage children, who were detained while participating in combat alongside the Rapid Support Forces during previous battles, to representatives of the International Committee of the Red Cross in Omdurman. The organisation’s representatives will then deliver them to the National Council for Child Welfare to reunite them with their families.
The official spokesperson for the Armed Forces stated in a press release that this handover complies with international humanitarian law, human rights law, and child protection laws.
