Only 681 Hospitals Operational, Health Insurance reports

The director of the National Health Insurance Directorate General Dr. Sideeq WahabAllah revealed a 20% degration of the health map in the second quarter of the current year.
The National Health insurance is currently providing its services throughout 681 hosptals only on the federal range out of 3.481 on-service hospitals in the first quarter, recording a degration ratio of 19.6%.
Dr. WahabAllah asserted in a press report that forming the revision technical committee is a results agreed upon in the workshop of the execution of the needed interventions follow-up held lately in Medani city. The workshop aimed on promoting health services, in addition to that, it recommended revision of medical services on their tripple aspects to handle the current situation facing the country. As he also revealed various challenges such as the lack of resources to provide quality and just services by focusing on the fundamental medical care the benifits 80 – 90% of the ensured, disregarding the medical services provided via other financing programs.
