Suspects were arrested carrying foreign currencies and drugs

The Atbara Investigation Division seized two suspects from the Umm al-Tuyour Bridge, coming from Khartoum State, in their possession of $4,800 and 4,500 Saudi riyals, in addition to 69,000 Sudanese pounds, a (small) amount of the drug ice (Shabu), a laptop, in addition to clothes and perfumes.

Upon investigating them, they confessed that they had committed the crime of theft from the Arquit suburb, in addition to purchasing some of these stolen items from three individuals associates with the Rapid Support Militia.

The necessary legal measures have been taken as investigations continue.
