New Developments in the Exchange Rate of Sudanese Pound

The exchange rate of the Sudanese pound witnessed a further improvement, and traders in the parallel market informed “Sudan Events” that the price of the dollar in today’s trading (Tuesday) reached 802 pounds. On the other hand, the price of the Saudi riyal reached 210 pounds, while the price of the Emirati dirham reached 218 pounds, at a time when the price of the Qatari riyal reached 215 pounds, the price of the euro reached 840 pounds, and the price of the Egyptian pound recorded 21 pounds.

Traders attributed the improvement in the price of the pound to the recent measures taken by the Central Bank recently to control the exchange rate.
