Sudan Recovers a Copy of the Prison Escapee Records system
Khartoum – Sudan Events
Abdul Karim Hamdo, the police major general responsible for the General Department of Criminal Evidence at the Sudanese Ministry of Interior, said that his department succeeded in recovering a copy of the records of criminals escaping from prisons. Hamdo announced the loss of his management of the DNA testing system (D.N.A), along with all police dogs trained to detect crime in Khartoum, except a limited number of them located in states unaffected by the war.
Thousands of prisoners had fled from prisons in the capital, Khartoum, after the outbreak of war in April, and the Sudanese Ministry of Interior, including its minister, accused a large number of them of fighting alongside the Rapid Support Forces.
