The African Union commits to sponsoring the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue

The Chairperson of the African Union Commission, Moussa Faki, held a meeting in his office today with the presence of Mohamed Hassan Wad Labat, Head of the Office of the Chairperson of the African Union Commission and the official spokesperson of the Commission, along with Professor Mohamed Saeed Ahmed Seral-Khatim, the Chairman of the Sudan Revolutionary Front and the Chairman of the North Track. They discussed the developments of the Sudanese crisis.
The meeting discussed the current crisis and the possibility of a solution with the contribution of the African Union, which is responsible for managing crises on the African continent, by facilitating the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue in which no political or societal force is excluded.
The Chairperson of the African Union Commission emphasised that they do not intervene in Sudan and support what the Sudanese people want, as they are the ones concerned with ending their crises without any guardianship from anyone, as they know what they want and how to reach solutions to the problems that hinder their progress. He also expressed his regret over the outbreak of this war that devastated everything, and affirmed that the Union will exert all efforts to ensure the success of the Sudanese-Sudanese dialogue, acting only as facilitators.
