A five-year plan to support farmers in Sudan

The acting governor of Gadarif State, Mohamed Abdel Rahman Mahjoub, Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Success of the Agricultural Season, revealed during his tour to inspect the progress of the agricultural season in the states of the rain sector, that the committee has developed a five-year plan to support farmers and provide them with agricultural inputs in order to achieve the desired goals.
For his part, the acting governor of Sennar expressed his hopes that the hoped-for success of the current agricultural season would be achieved thanks to the abundant rains that fell in his state and the combined efforts of the Agricultural Season Success Committee, banks, and state farmers.
The Federal Minister of Agriculture praised the great efforts made by the Supreme Committee to make the agricultural season a success in overcoming many of the obstacles that faced the season, especially since the country was going through exceptional circumstances due to the war that broke out in Khartoum, which enabled farmers to cultivate their agricultural areas and use the agricultural technologies that the Ministry relies on to increase production and productivity.
