Mineral Resources Seizes Traditional Mixers in Northern state

The Environment and Safety Department at the office of the Sudanese Mineral Materials Company Limited in the Northern State (Tuesday) carried out a campaign to remove environmental violations in mining areas.

Tamer Abdel Salam, Director of the Environment and Safety Department, announced the seizure of a number of traditional mixers and chemicals harmful to the environment outside the authorized frameworks, in addition to the seizure of a number of dumpers carrying mining waste on its way to parties not authorized to work in extracting gold.

Tamer revealed the continuation of the campaign that was launched in the Al-Dabba and Al-Qab area in Dongola locality, to eliminate environmental violations in the state.
