Performed for the First Time – Removal of Cancerous Tumour at Othman Digna Hospital

Prince Othman Digna Hospital in Port Sudan witnessed the first surgical operation to remove a large cancerous tumour extending from inside the skull, including the left eye to the upper sinus of the nose.
It is considered the first operation of its kind to be conducted outside Khartoum.

The general director of the hospital, Dr. Muhammad Kamal, announced that the administration will provide aids to localize the conduct of all delicate and complex operations.
