Warnings: Unsafe “Indian medicines” entered Sudan
Sudan Events – Talal Mudathir
The Secretary General of the National Council of Medicines and Poisons warned of the consequences of trading with “Indian drugs and syringes” roaming the country and are used for malaria patients.
The Council said that the medical drugs of “Afroway Pharma” & “Oscar Remedies PVT” are unregistered in Sudan and are unexamined for being safe to use, which is an essential procedure before approval.
The Council issued an exceptional declaration last month upon which it allows the companies to import medicines from the Arab Republic of Egypt to keep up with the health situation’s changes in the country upon stated terms and conditions.
