Arrangements to Launch Mobile Vehicles to Sell Goods and Vegetables in Khartoum

The Governor of Khartoum, Ahmed Othman Hamza, discussed (Monday) with the Director General of the Ministry of Agriculture, Livestock and Irrigation, Dr. Saral Al-Khatim, the arrangements and needs of the upcoming winter agricultural season and the inauguration of a project for carts selling goods, vegetables and meat to citizens.
The meeting secured the provision of irrigation, fuel and pump needs for the Al-Sarorab and “Al-Gezira Slanj” projects, within the obligations of the Governor of Khartoum during his visit to these projects.
In a related context, the meeting discussed arrangements for launching mobile vehicles to sell goods, vegetables and meat in agreement with producers.
The Governor of Khartoum stressed that the issues of agricultural and animal production receive all support and attention because they contribute directly to the stability of citizens. He directed the Ministry of Agriculture to intensify its communications with producers to make the winter season a success.
