Sudanese Professor Wins Arab Council for Arab Archaeologists Academic Excellence Award

Professor Nada Bakr Mohammed Ibrahim, a professor at the Faculty of Tourism and Antiquities at Shendi University, has won the Arab Council for Arab Archaeologists’ Academic Excellence Award for the year 2023.
The President of the Council, Dr Mohammed Al-Kahlawi, announced the Council’s awards, including in-kind and financial rewards. This announcement was made during the 36th meeting of the Council’s board of directors for 2023, held on Thursday.
Dr Abdel Rahim Rayhan, the head of the media office, stated that the in-kind awards include the Council’s encouraging award for archaeological awareness, as well as the Council’s award for Arab archaeologists, which has been won by several academics and researchers in the field of archaeology from various Arab countries.
