Member of the Transitional Sovereignty Council, Head of Production Sector Ministries, Lt Gen Ibrahim Jabir chaired today a meeting in Port Sudan which included ministers of Agriculture, Animal Wealth, and Commerce.

The meeting discussed the ongoing preparations and the exerted efforts to make the agricultural season a success within the current conditions facing Sudan

Jabir promised to remove all the obstacles facing the agricultural season besides providing the requirements of Winter Agricultural Season.

It is worth noting that the cultivated area of the summer season amounted to 36 million acres to provide sorghum and millet.
