Sudan Events – Talal Mudathir
Minni Arko Minawi, governor of the Darfur region and head of the Sudan Liberation Army Movement (SLA-MM), called for the holding of a comprehensive constitutional conference to remove everything left by the colonialists and achieve harmony between the margin and the center.
Minawi, who was speaking at the second Juba consultative workshop for the peace signatories on Tuesday, called for the necessity of turning the pages of the past after the damned war and striving to unify the national and international fronts until the Sudan problem is solved.
“We were encouraged by Egypt’s initiative last July to give neighboring countries the right to manage the matter, and we are still searching for platforms.” Minnawi said. “Neighboring countries feel what we feel, and we strive with every effort and send our messages to the international community to find a platform from the countries of dialogue, as well as Saudi Arabia,” He added.
He warned, saying that without our unity with each other, we cannot do anything.”
At the end of his speech, Minawi praised the government of South Sudan for its role in helping to resolve the Sudanese crisis, stressing that their vision will remain open to others to help get out of this crisis along with South Sudan and the rest of the countries and organizations.
