The Kingdom of Saudi Arabia expressed its condemnation and denunciation of the targeting of Al-Jabalain city hospital in White Nile State by the Rapid Support Forces, which resulted in the death and injury of a number of people, including medical personnel.
In a statement, the Saudi Ministry of Foreign Affairs said: “The Kingdom affirms that these disgraceful acts cannot be justified under any circumstances and constitute a blatant violation of international law, international humanitarian law, and the principles of the true Islamic religion.”
The Kingdom called for the immediate cessation of these violations and adherence to the Jeddah Declaration (Commitment to Protect Civilians in Sudan) signed on May 11, 2023.
The Kingdom also reaffirmed its firm position calling for the preservation of Sudan’s unity and its legitimate institutions, as this is the only way to meet the aspirations of the noble Sudanese people in achieving security and stability.
