The Sudan Medical Council warns its members and threatens with penalties

The Sudan Medical Council, which is the body responsible for regulating the registration of doctors, said that it had received complaints from many international medical councils about the inconsistency of some information received from doctors with official documents.
In a statement issued on Thursday, the Council cleared it of any false information in its records, stressing that the doctor is fully responsible for providing false information, warning that providing any false information or unapproved documents exposes the doctor to serious consequences, including legal accountability according to the law and regulations of the Medical Council, and the penalty may reach a maximum. Up to the point of being removed from the council’s records and deprived of a certificate of good conduct and notifying the medical councils and other relevant parties.
