4 Sudanese states recorded 1,059 cases of cholera

A number of states in Sudan witnessed recording cases of cholera (acute watery diarrhea), amounting to 1,059 cases out of a total of 2,077 suspected cases.
Regarding deaths, the Federal Ministry of Health confirmed in the epidemiological monitoring report that it was 73 deaths, pointing out that Gedaref State in eastern Sudan recorded 34 deaths out of the total cases recorded in the country, and it also had the most infections, 797 cases out of the total.
According to monitoring, infections and suspected cases were recorded in addition to Gedaref in the states of Khartoum, Gezira and South Kordofan.
