The Minister of Trade and Supply in Sudan, Amal Saleh Saad, stressed the importance of overcoming the obstacles to the flow of trade.
Amal confirmed while she met (Monday) the Director of the Customs Forces, Lieutenant General Police Karim Adam Al-Nour, at the buildings of the customs forces in Port Sudan,
The need to follow the procedures and controls to overcome obstacles and facilitate the movement of trade, except for necessary goods.
The follow-ups of the (Police Press Office) reported that the meeting discussed ways to activate the procedures and controls for the export and import of goods in accordance with the customs procedures followed, including banking procedures on incoming goods, in addition to activating the role of the Technical Committee to review the controls and outputs of the meeting of the National Emergency Committee and the effects of the rise in the exchange rate of the dollar in the parallel market and the development of controls to limit its rise.
For his part, the Director of the Customs Forces, Lt.Gen.Adam Al-Nour, confirmed their readiness and full cooperation with the ministry to facilitate the movement of incoming and outgoing in the country by enforcing the latest global customs systems and activating international agreements.
