Neymar DaSilva, the Saudi Al Hilal’s star, was subjected to severe criticism, amid the atmosphere of Lionel Messi’s euphoria over winning the Ballon d’Or for the eighth time.
“Messi is a role model for all our youth. Any player who wants to win the Ballon d’Or must follow in his footsteps.” Said Brazilian President Lula da Silva.
“You must be professional, as things will not go well by attending parties and having many outdoor gatherings with friends.” He added.
For its part, Mundo Deportivo newspaper reported that the Brazilian president’s comments were referring to Neymar, who caused a new uproar with a showy party a few days ago in Brazil.
The newspaper added that the Brazilian star held a party in his private palace near Rio de Janeiro, as pictures and news of which were leaked on social media and sites.
