SAF accuses RSF for fire an oil Facility in Khartoum

Sudan Events -Talal Mudathir

The Sudanese army SAF accused RSFMilitia for firing petroleum facility north of Khartoum, “Al-Jili Refinery,” and described its behavior as attempting to fill a fuel truck without adhering to standard safety procedures followed as “irresponsible behavior” toward vital facilities in the country.

The militia’s behavior led to a fire breaking out inside the corporate department (the Nile Company), and the refinery and its inhabitants were destroyed, according to a circular issued by the official spokesman for the Sudanese army, Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah, on Tuesday.

The army held the rebel terrorist Rapid Support militia accountable for the devastating consequences that could arise as a result of this barbaric behavior, which could expose the lives of the region’s residents and vital facilities to extreme danger and cause the country to lose its most important national capabilities, which belong to the honorable Sudanese people.

The Rapid Support militia took the initiative to occupy the refinery since the beginning of its rebellion and is still stationing its forces there and continues to withdraw fuel by force. It also recently occupied the Balila oil field and is expected to practice the same irresponsible and destructive approach to oil facilities in Sudan.
