Togo to Face Sudan in the World Cup Qualifiers

The technical staff of the Togolese national team announced on Saturday the final list of players to face its Sudanese counterpart in the African qualifiers for the 2026 World Cup.

The list included 23 players, including 19 professionals, and only 4 from the local leagues. At the forefront of the professionals were Steven, the German goalkeeper of Hamburg, Dakonam, the Spanish defender of Getafe, Amifor, the Dutch defender of Eidhoven, Derman Karim, the Belgian player of Lommel, and Roger, the Moroccan player of Raja.

The Togolese national team will host the Sudan national team next Thursday at the Benina Martyrs Stadium in the Libyan city of Yngazi.
