Increase of Watery Diarrhoea and Dengue Fever Infections in Gedaref

Director General of the Ministry of Health and Social Development in Gedaref State revealed that 18 confirmed cases of acute watery diarrhoea were recorded yesterday, November 11, 2023, bringing the cumulative rate of infection with the disease since its spread on August 26 to 1,188 cases. This is in addition to 2 deaths, bringing the cumulative death rate to 43 cases of death .

The Director General explained in a press statement on Sunday that the cumulative dengue fever report recorded 36 confirmed cases of the disease for yesterday, November 11, bringing the cumulative incidence of the disease to 2517, while no deaths were recorded yesterday.
