Directives from Khartoum Governor on the Hajj and Umrah

The Governor of Khartoum State, Ahmed Osman Hamza, has given directives during his meeting on Wednesday with the Director of the Hajj and Umrah Department, Ali Al-Hadqanu, that those who have completed procedures during the previous Hajj procedures applications and were unable to perform the ritual due to war condition, be given priority in this year’s Hajj otherwise their money should be refunded for them.

Al-Hadqanu also reviewed his administration plan for this year’s Hajj, 1445 AH, in line with the directives of the Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah. The meeting stressed the need for the Khartoum State plan to be consistent of matrix of procedures that will be announced by the Supreme Council for Hajj and Umrah.

Due to the war conditions, Khartoum State has decided to designate specific centers to apply for Hajj, and the governor directed the Hajj and Umrah Department to submit a proposal to that effect before announcing the timings of the procedures.
