Kabashi promises continued commodities flow

Lieutenant General Shams-eddin Kabashi, member of the Transitional Sovereign Council (TSC)-cum Armed Forces Deputy Commander-in-Chief on Wednesday received the Governor of North Kordofan State, Abdul Khaleg Abdul Latif Wadaa.
Kabbashi promised during the meeting that all obstacles hindering the smooth flow of goods and services to the state of North Kordufan. He also underlined that the federal government would help with maintaining security and spurring service agencies to fully carry out their role at the current stage.
For his part, the Governor of North Kordofan State briefed Kabashi on the security, economic and service conditions and the efforts undertaken to address these challenges, given the circumstances surrounding his state government.
He underlined the importance of securing North Kordufan State and the roads crossing the state through which strategic goods are transported. He said citizens have also to feel secure within their state.
The Governor added, “We provided a full explanation of about the security situation in the state, in addition to the need to provide basic services to citizens.”
