Paris: Sudanese Protest against RSF

Exclusive– Sudan Events

The Youth for Darfur Organization (MACHAD)has warned of a humanitarian catastrophe as a result of the continued siege imposed by the Rapid Support Militia on civilians in the Darfur region, western Sudan.
The organization said about 3 million and 600 thousand civilians are at risk of death after the spreading out of the conflict and the militias’ control over most of the main roads in the majority of states in Darfur region.
Meanwhile, the organization and a group of Sudanese for the Homeland organized a massive protest today, Saturday, in the Place de la République in the French capital, Paris, denouncing the violations committed by the rebel militia in Sudan and calling on the international community to support the Sudanese people against the rebellion in their fighting for survival.
Last September, the Youth for Darfur Organization implemented its humanitarian relief programs towards those affected by the war in Darfur, providing estimated material support to (181) families displaced from South Darfur State (Nyala) to East Darfur (Al Daein).
The organization explained that its continuation in providing support to those affected by the war in Darfur, stems from a sense of the need to speed up the response to the catastrophic and dangerous humanitarian conditions that the Darfur region is experiencing.
