Issuing Passports in North Kordofan

The Sudanese authorities have launched work to issue the electronic passport in North Kordofan State at a rate of 100 passports per day, setting the cost of issuing the passport at (100) thousand pounds for children and (140) thousand pounds for adults.
Police Colonel Mohammad Al-Goom Al-Nour, Director of the Passports and Immigration Department in the state, said that the launch of the work to issue the electronic passport came after the completion of technical and administrative arrangements, stressing the readiness of his department to provide all the necessary facilities for those wishing to obtain the passport in the state and other states, indicating that another service has been added to obtain the passport through data registration, through the link, in order to reduce the crowding of those wishing to obtain a passport.
He explained that the beginning of the work witnessed a specific link to issuing (100) passports per day, and the work in issuing the passport will be doubled during the coming period, indicating that he expected that there would be a great demand by those interested.
