The Secretary of State of the United States, Anthony Blinken, and the United Arab Emirates, Abdullah bin Zayed Al Nahyan, discussed the importance of ending the conflict in Sudan.
The US State Department said in a statement that the two sides stressed the importance of protecting civilians amid increasing violence in the country.
The ministry explained that the two ministers spoke during a phone call in the past few days about the situation in Gaza.
The US Secretary of State had called on both sides of the conflict in Sudan to abide by international humanitarian law and not to expose the lives of civilians in the city of El Fasher to danger.
The Assistant Commander-in-Chief of the Sudanese Army, General Yasser Al-Atta, attacked the UAE on Tuesday, accusing it of financing the Janjaweed with military equipment, following in the footsteps of evil in the country.
