Gezira Hosts Millions of War-affected

Reports revealed that the Gezira State hosted (7,121,144) people affected by the war, and that the state’s budget was transformed into a war budget to accommodate the exceptional circumstances that the country is going through, and spending on federal institutions and the health sector, which bore great burdens during the previous period.
Gezira Acting Governor, Al-Taher Ibrahim Al-Khair, announced when chairing the state government council meeting that security is one of the most important priorities for the next stage until achieving victory over the Rapid Support militias, paying attention to the mobilized persons, and supporting the armed forces financially and morally in addition to paying attention to the cultural, social, sports and health sectors. He called on the citizens of the state to strengthen social bonds.
