El-Obeid Refinery to resume work

The Federal Minister of Energy and Oil, Engineer Mohieddin Naeem, directed the Governor of North Kordofan, Abdul Khalig Abdulatif, to make the necessary arrangements to operate the El-Obeid refinery. During his meeting with the Governor of North Kordofan, in the presence of the Undersecretary of the Ministry of Federal Government and the Governor of East Darfur State, in his office in Port Sudan (Saturday), he discussed the issue of maintaining the thermal station in the city of El-Obeid as well as providing it with fuel.
He emphasized payment of the state’s water due debt to the electricity company. The Minister of Electricity and Oil promised to remove all obstacles that stand in the way of remedying of these issues.
