Aqar briefed on gold production activities

The Vice President of the Transitional Sovereign Council, Malik Aqar Air, received in Port Sudan the General Director of the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company, Mohamed Taher Omar,
Mohammad Taher who said he briefed the vice president on the company’s plans, programs, activities, mining projects, and the role it plays in collection and supervision of state fees, traditional mining, and corporate social responsibility issues across the country.
Mohammad stressed his administration is keen to further develop the mining sector, pointing out that the meeting touched on the gold production and export as achieved by the Sudanese Mineral Resources Company during the last period and the challenges facing them and the way out.
