Dozens of Stolen Vehicles Retrieved

The General Traffic Department, through its departments in the states, was able to seize (44) stolen vehicles from Khartoum State and a number of (7) vehicles(Rickshaw), in addition to (3) other suspected vehicles bearing Khartoum State license plates.
Director of the General Traffic Department, Police Major General Dr. Siraj Al-Din Mansour Khaled said that monitoring, follow-up and scrutiny of vehicle documents, especially on highways, helped authorities stop these vehicles.
He pointed out this retrieval also comes in implementation of the strategic directives of the Ministry of Interior and the Leadership of the Police Forces.
During the traffic control campaigns, Gezira State Traffic Investigation Department was able to retrieve (12) stolen vehicles.
An accused who is active in the falsifying driving and car license was also arrested
A team of traffic police officers from the River Nile State seized vehicles suspected of being stolen. Legal measures were taken against the accused, (2) pickups were also seized.
