These monuments are considered historical landmarks that record the history of the region and reflect the successive civilizations that flourished there throughout the ages.
In this context, an amazing discovery made by a group of Yemeni youths was highlighted in the media and social media platforms. They found a valuable treasure of rare golden statues.

Reports show that these youths were able to discover this valuable archaeological treasure in the village of “Bani Shamsan” in the “Al-Makhader” District in the Yemeni Ibb Governorate.

After a number of archaeological experts reviewed the golden statues that were discovered, it was found that these rare statues date back to the Sabaean civilization that flourished in Yemen thousands of years ago.

Initial analyzes conducted on these golden statues show that they date back approximately 10,000 years, which reflects how ancient this precious treasure is.
