Plans to Develop Port Sudan Airport reviewed

Member of the Sovereign Council-cum- Chairman of the Supreme Committee for the Rehabilitation of Port Sudan International Airport, Lieutenant General Ibrahim Jaber has announced during an inspection visit today the work progress at the airport and emergency projects.

He has stressed during the tour the government keenness to rehabilitate and develop Port Sudan Airport during the coming period.
The Director General of Sudan Airports, Engineer, Advisor, Al Sir Babiker Al-Tayeb, reviewed the urgent plans, programs and projects to be rehabilitated and developed with Port Sudan Airport.
Al-Tayeb explained that the visit of Gen Jabir has yielded positive result and reactivated effort for the rehabilitation of the airport and its various associated projects.
He pointed out that the coming period will witness a standard services and activities from various air companies where procedures would be facilitated for travelers as envisaged by the emergency plan.
